International pop media convention Comic Con will occur from the 22nd through 25th of this month in San Diego. And I myself will be running down there to enjoy the lowlife nerd festivities exactly one week from now.

I’ve been wanting a PS2 compatible arcade stick for a while now and if you’ve ever tried to find one yourself you probably already know that none worth buying exist and the ones that are are priced up in the frightening $150-200 range. I of course don’t want to pay all that so I’m going to do the next best thing. If you can’t buy ‘em, make ‘em.

SBCC Gamefest

At long last I’ve lost my fightan tourney virginity (Smash Bros. didn’t count) this past Saturday. I entered the SFIV tourney at the Santa Barbara City College Gamefest at a whopping $5 entree fee. You’ve most likely never heard of the event before reason being we having no real fighting game scene nor good players. Regardless it was fun and I’ve learned that real tourney experiences are dangerously addicting.
