360 Shopping Jamberie

Since this was perhaps the only day this month that I was not working in hell I accompanied my Nii-san to go shopping for new additions for my brand new spanking MICROSOFT XBOX 360yyyyyy that I recently purchased a few weeks ago. First on the list was an new controller since playing Halo 3 by myself has only contributed to my growing disease of roneryness.

 

So the first store on our hitless as ironic as it may be was the unfortunate store that I worked at which I will not be naming. Only because I needed to pick up some toothpaste and knee high socks as well. Once I rounded up the groceries, we headed to the Electronics department where it was always so cool. For some reason they make this section of the store so much better. They have... TVs here... and Rock Band... and... electricity... Anyway I finally found where we kept our Xbox 360 controllers after about 10 minutes due to us being terribly unorganized. I think if we set up our products in this (NSFW) fashion then none of this would be a problem. But unfortunately the cashier at Electronics was a young Latino male and could not apply my discount number towards my purchase and I didn't end up saving 10%. I mean I probably could of done it right but. You know. It's not right to be Asian and making a fuss over a few dollars infront of a guy like that. I wouldn't feel ethically right. So I played it cool like "Don't worry about it man~" I raged on the inside but moved on.

Our next stop was an equally terrible store, GameCrazy. It's funny though, we've been ripped off, taunted, and hurt by GameCrazy (as well as HollyWood Video) but we always go back. I guess we sort of grown to like it. I've been shopping there for games for over 4 years now. And I always feel terrible after making purchases. I don't get it either. Anyway the only reason I came there today was because of the special Black Friday weekend sale I saw on the internet. Specifically, the 20-bucks-off-Soul-Calibur-IV special. How could I resist? Unfortunately GameCrazy being jackasses like they usually are told me it ended yesterday. ... I could only RAGE more but fortunately there was still another special available for today; that being the buy-2-used-games-get-1-used-game-for-free special. Well I was already over here so. You know. Might as well take advantage of it.

After about an hour of indecisiveness, we decided upon 1) Biololi, 2) Alone in the Dark, and 3) Viva Piñata Dos. Biololi because, well, I mean, look at them. Alone in the Dark because my brother said that our friend said it was awesome. Viva Piñata Dos because if our only two other games were dark horror scary zombie evil ect. games then I might not be able to sleep well at night. Thinking we made a deal we left GameCrazy with huge grins on our faces only to turn them completely upsidedown an hour later.

 

 

To put it simply Alone in the Dark is horrid. I mean it's got a nice thing going on but it's just so... damn... rough. The gameplay is horrible, the puzzles are redundent, the gameplay is incredibally horrible, ect. Goddamn that friend of ours. I mean I didn't lose any money really. I actually will be making money if I sell it back (which I will). But still. I mean. I could've gotten something better. Like Dead or Alive Extreme 2.

Biololi on the other hand. Man. Bricks have been shat. I mean the lolis aren't as pretty as I was dreaming but still. I haven't played a game this action packed since Kingdom Hearts Touhou Brawl Halo 3. And I haven't played Viva Pinata 2 yet but it looked really fun and I just need a warm hearted game to play after playing through these two games that have had me jumping and screaming like a little girl. That being said, I'm going to go do that now.
