Black★Rock Shooter
Popular Vocaloid inspired and recently Type-Moon related internet icon Black Rock Shooter, familiarized by her black bikini-short short combo and distinct burning azure eye, was previously announced to have her very own anime adaptation due for Spring 2010-which of course being very relevant to the interests of several otaku scattered across the globe.
For those who are (somehow) unaware of what Black Rock Shooter is; Black Rock Shooter originated as a character designed and illustrated by talented artist huke. Together with ryo, founder of highly successful and once doujin music group, supercell, they would create the popular Black Rock Shooter music video in summer of '08 that has now accumuled almost two and a half million views on Nico Nico Douga. Since then several parody fan works in the form of art and music and even a figure would spawn across the internet and before we knew it the blue fire in our hearts soon came from our fists eye.
The anticipated Pilot Edition DVD was recently released just yesterday and already uploaded to the internet for our very own selfish pleasure, however the actual content really is no more than just a 'pilot edition.' Still, currently unknown producers Ordet have done a surprisingly well job in terms of quality, capturing the original patterned theme of Black Rock Shooter well and providing us some insight as to what the series, with previously no storyline, may be about-as well as even introducing new characters into the BRS universe. The show won't be airing for nearly another half-year, but as we anticipate it all we can do now is question, just who will voice our beloved burning eyed, gun-wielding heroine?
In final news regarding this site and my recent locations, expect a graphical update sometime soon along with necessary clean ups as I'm getting tired at looking at some of the content on this site (though not Saber Lily of course~). As some of you may know recently my suicidal PC decided to crash and forced me to reinstall Windows XP, which some may have dreaded experiences of, usually because it often results in complete wipe-out of one's hard drive. However as if my final prayers had reached the heavens, as I had finished reinstalling Windows XP I stumbled upon my old files still intact on my hard drive, stowed away and unwilling to be destroyed by something so petty as an OS installation. On the more unfortunate side however there are only so many things I must download and reinstall which will be taking up a lot of my time this weekend, but sure enough I'll find time to work on the several things I promise to do.
