WWW is getting revamped. Redone. Remade. Or wait, it'd have to have already been made for that to be able to happen. Still, I'm starting over and now is the best time to do so. So then, just what the heck are we looking at and who's the negro who sprayed up the top of this post?

That one fanmade 2D fighting game I was working on is being worked over from the roots baby. I'm getting rid of the old made sprites, getting rid of old system concepts, and am opening up to new ideas. And it's all falling under the name (because you can't read gangster write) Discobreque! The original name is a distorted combination of the words 'discotheque' and 'break.'

So just what are we looking at here? First on the list is sprites. They're going to be redrawn to about 1.5x the original sprite size and then bloated to double size in game taking up a good amount of Fighter Maker 2nd's 640x480 window.

The game's cast is possibly going to be subject to change however anyone who was in the original fake mock up image has a good chance of getting in eventually. Also, several of the original character's names (stemming from QFF's barrage of alt. accounts and make-believe characters) are going to be altered in stupid looking ways to prevent any copyright issues. Sorry I had to ^^;;

At least I didn't add one of those retarded = signs like in Arcueid=Brunestud or the entire cast of Blazblue.

Gameplay-wise it will be played much different from my original desire, which was a fast paced combo mashing game, but after several hours of hard thinking whilst sleeping in classes, I've come to a conclusion that those types of games already exist and there would be little point in bringing forth another one. Therefore Discobreque is going to take a turn into a more unorthodox direction which I will reveal upon soon enough. I will be actively working on this project and providing updates every now and then, though I don't believe I'll be as cool as Sakurai was.

In other news, after a day of updating WordPress, shrine-write is finally up to date and while you guys can't see it Sobzob and I have a fancy new, much more convenient, layout to work with. Several new plug-ins and features towards the site have already been installed and more are coming on their way. Look forward to them you gaiz! Oh yeah, polls...
