Sharin no Kuni 100%

Kitaaaa!!! The wait is over as the highly anticipated visual novel, Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo, has finally been fan translated into English! ...crap.

Oh boy. While I only hear good things about Sharin no Kuni and am looking forward to it very much, unfortunately I seem to lack the ability to spend time playing visual novels these days. Meaning that this is only going to be thrown onto the list of eroge waiting in line to be played, along with the also recently translated visual novels Shuffle! and Cross Channel. All of which I hear are excellent in their own respects, but I can't choose which one to play!

While it's a tough decision, I'm probably going to go with Shuffle!, Navel's famous gods and demons harem eroge that spawned several upon several spinoff games, animes, and mangas. But it's not hard to see why; Shuffle! is a classic example of a well made, down-to-earth galge visual novel, featuring an excellent variety of heroines in the cast to suit the several moe archetypes that proud otaku love. And for me, Shuffle! holds a unique place in my own otaku heart, as the anime version of it was I believe the very first anime I watched by myself on my own account and will way back in middle school. Needless to say, with beautiful girls from yanderes (absent in eroge ;_;) to lolis to love you, it became a tasteful favorite of mine and somewhat still is today. But the real reason why I'm going to finish Shuffle! first anyway is because I really really want to hear Yuko Goto's (Mikuru from Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Anya from Code Geass R2) sex scenes. Badly.

Which means that after I finish Shuffle! and if my nutbladder is still intact, I'll carry onto Cross Channel which I estimate will take me two or three months at least to finish, with my current schedule. Then there will probably be a one month period where I'm crying tears of sadness after playing Cross Channel so...

I probably won't be playing Sharin no Kuni for a half year-ish. Now I can only curse these visual novels for not being released a bit sooner during the past summer so I could have played them instead of some other crappier ones. Oh well, at the very least we still have great things to look forward to.
