I’m not dead, yet

As the title says, I'm still here. I just haven't really had anything worthwhile to actually make a blog post about, and instead I've been making updates on my Twitter.
I still don't have anything really interesting to add, but I thought I'd still make a blog post about the fancy speaker stands I built myself!

Last week, I made a decision that I would go and build my own speaker stands as I could only barely hear the speakers I have behind myself. At first I was looking into buying a pair, but I really don't feel like paying $60-70. And it turns out that building them myself only cost around $9-10.

The result wasn't that bad either, if I can say so myself. I'm going to paint them eventually, I've just been a bit lazy considering it's good enough for me as it is. The speaker stands are standing 90cm tall and are perfectly matching the height of my head when I'm sitting down in front of my computer.
The guy who sold the material to me was really nice and let me get the plates for free - as it pretty much was in the garbage material box. I only had to pay for the poles.

    How did you come to that conclusion?

    I think you’re one of those people whose hobby is finding fault in things.

    But now you can’t take it off anymore ;A;

    Ohohoho, I already made necessary precautions!
    It won’t break when I give it a little push – and after having knocked down the speaker 2 times by accident I put putty under it, so now it’s stuck on the stand!

    But it feels like the pole could break down anytime when you give it a little push. ;A; Also the speaker could fall off so easily like that. WHAT IF SWEDEN SUDDENLY GETS HIT BY AN EARTHQUAKE. Your precious speaker will fall off. :@
